How Much Do You Pay for Childcare?
Human Response Network has a child care Assistance Program that may be able
to help with your child care costs.
Childcare is a fact of life for Trinity County families.
- 46% of Trinity County children 5 years and younger
- 55% of children 6-13 years old live in households where both parents or
single head of household is in the labor force.
Child care costs for a family with 2 children can equal the amount they pay
for rent or mortgage. Child care costs can also be a barrier to successful
employment.
If you are working, going to school, in a job training program, or in an
approved CALWORKS activity and your gross monthly income is at or below the
amount listed for the size of your family, you may qualify.
