Endowment Fund

You can make a difference in the lives that follow...

The Human Response Network was established in 1980. Dedicated to protecting each person’s right to live in safety with dignity, the agency grew out of a grassroots movement to provide support to women and children who were victims of domestic violence, abuse, or sexual assault. The Human Response Network has grown to a large staff of professionals and volunteers, expanding its role to include a wide range of children, family, and victim services and resources. Current funding is made possible through grants, donations, and sponsorships. Over the years the Human Response Network has been successful identifying grants that support it’s mission and provide for meaningful community based services. But within that success there is always concern over reduced federal and state funding, and the possibility of having to eliminate services. Looking to the future we now call upon the community to become benefactors to endow a wide range of programs.

What is Endowment?

An endowment is a gift that honors a person, company, or group. Gifts may include cash, real property, personal property, publicly traded securities, life insurance, commercial annuities, other tangible property, gifts by will or living trust, and retirement plans. An endowed gift is FOREVER

Such a gift IMMORTALIZES either the benefactor or the party named by the endowment.

The endowment PERPETUALLY honors or memorializes a person, company, or group.

Donations to the fund may have favorable tax benefits, both for the donor and for their family. Donors also have the option to remain anonymous when making contributions.

Please confer with your estate planner or financial advisor.

How is my gift used?
