Weaverville After School Program is funded by the California Department of Education, Child Development Division to provide General Child Care services.

Hours: 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday - All Day on School Holidays and Vacations

The Program
Our program is designed not only to provide a safe nurturing environment for children while their parents are at work, but also to promote, support and enhance the child's development. This is done by:

reflecting sound developmentally appropriate practices
recognizing the individuality of each child and their family
working in partnership with the child's parents

Our program provides a variety of activities for the school aged child. Homework assistance is provided and children are encouraged to use this time to complete their school work.

Our program is also designed to be fun! Crafts activities, board games and outdoor activities give the child an opportunity to work in small groups and develop cooperative skills while having lots of fun in the process.

Cost
This program is subsidized by the State of California. The fee schedule is based on the state median income adjusted for family size. If your income is at or below the amounts listed, you qualify for reduced cost or free services. Your gross monthly income includes all sources of income.

If your income is higher than the amount listed, you can still enroll your child in the program on a private pay basis. To find out exactly what your cost would be, give us a call!
